Here’s the list of celebs who arrived just minutes back to cast their vote during the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019, that are currently underway
Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019 is going on in full swing. Since morning people are going to the polling booths to cast their votes for the candidate of their choice. Right from Varun Dhawan to Preity Zinta and Prem Chopra to Subhas Ghai amongst others were spotted earlier today being a part of the activity. The recent ones who have arrived at the polling booth are Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Salim Khan, Anil Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, Ranjeet, Isha Koppikar, Vivek Oberoi with wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi father Suresh Oberoi and mother Yashodhar, Anupam Kher’s son Sikander Kher, Dharmendra, Dino Morea, Sachin Tendulkarn with wife Anjali Tendulkar and son Arjun Tendulkar and Vidya Balan among others. Sohail Khan was too accompanied with wife Seema Khan at the polling booth. Interestingly, Rishi Kapoor, who recently returned to India post undergoing treatment for cancer, too, was spotted casting vote.
Sachin Tendulkar shared a picture with son and wife and wrote, “मतदान करणे आपल्या सर्वांचे कर्तव्य आहे. माझं मत मी नोंदवलं आहे, आपण सर्व सुद्धा मतदान करून या लोकशाहीच्या सोहळ्याचा भाग व्हा. This morning, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis too took to their social media handles and urged the citizens to cast their vote. In his Tweet PM Modi wrote, “Elections are taking place for Haryana and Maharashtra assemblies. There are also by-polls taking place in various parts of India. I urge voters in these states and seats to turnout in record numbers and enrich the festival of democracy. I hope youngsters vote in large numbers.”
